WellConnect is a digital tool that makes it easy for you to under- stand your prescriptions, find the lowest-cost medication to treat your condition and get tips to stay as healthy as possible. Using a secure texting platform, WellConnect delivers timely health and prescription information right to your phone. Savings opportunities. When you fill a brand-name prescrip- tion, WellDyne will immediately let you know if a preferred brand or generic medication is available that will save you money. Health tips. Choices that you make every day affect your health. You will receive timely alerts and reminders for flu shots and annual health screenings, such as mammograms. Prior authorization (PA). High-cost medications or medica- tions that have cost-effective alternatives may require review before approval. We will send you a text alert if a medication needs PA and then send you daily status updates as your PA works through the process. Chronic conditions. If you have a chronic condition, such as diabetes, asthma or heart disease, you will receive addi- tional assistance to help you manage your condition and take full advantage of your prescription benefits. With WellConnect text messages, you can: ● Get medication refill reminders so you never miss a dose. ● Review information about your specific condition and medications. ● Talk to a WellDyne representative with the press of a button. ● Request to speak with a pharmacist from the privacy and convenience of your home. This transition took place in early August. Start using WellConnect today by registering through the WellView Member Portal. ● Go to www.WellDyne.com and click the “Login For Members” button. ● Once you log in to the portal, click on the settings icon and select “WellConnect” on the left side of the screen. ● Accept the terms and conditions, enter your mobile phone number and press the “submit” button.
